Cheers for that Bob - I'll give it a go. I'm more interested in the Designer
functionality than code, have you hit any problems?

I was able to install the CODE products on Vista. But I had to do some
work-arounds. First, browse to the CD with Explorer, then right click
on the install program (install or setup, I don't remember which) and
select properties. Under the compatibility tab, select to run this
program in Win XP SP2 mode, and also select to run this program as
administrator, and then click OK. Then launch the install program. It
should install just fine from there.

I'm not a heavy developer/user of CODE, but it seems to work just fine
for what I need.

Even still, it's great news to hear that Designer will be included in
WDSC - and none too soon!

I also second the notion of including VARPG support in WDSC.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Code/400 Install Vista

Hi all

Having problems trying to install the additional WDSCi tools onto a new
Vista machine, but get the following error on install 'Java reports
Windows

NT (unknown) as the name of your OS. This OS is not supported'

WDSC 6.0 installed just fine onto Vista.

Anyone else seen this?

Many thanks
