Manuel, My old laptop had a 750 MHz processor with 256 MB RAM. I was able to install WDSCi 6.0 by ending all unnecessary tasks (especially the virus checker) and being very patient, but I could never get the updates to finish applying (maybe 30 hours wasn't long enough). I gave up after several attempts and continued using CODE. That machine had been able to run 5.1.2, although it was so slow that it wasn't productive. Do the errors that you get occur on the install or on the updates? Thanks Aaron, I understand and agree with you totally but I need to do a training with ten pcs on wdsc which have only 256 mo ram I was wondering if it was possible to do the training on those pcs even it it would be slow before going back on the work pcs which have 512mo ram. What I would like to know is if it is technically possible to install wdsc6 light on a pc with 256mo ram to be used for simple iseries development instead of seu. This is where it is frustrating because there is a version wdsc6 light which is suposed to run with 256 mo ram but how do you install it with 256 mo ram ?. I had errors during install (of the full version). Your web site is nicely done, interesting, and worth to visit by the way. Thanks, Regards, Manuel
