I have discovered that if I start the server in Debug Mode, and keep a close eye on it's progress, (ie., every so often I try to right-click on it while it's trying to start...), that eventually I can get access to the "Run Admin Console" menu item and start the console that way. -----Original Message----- From: wdsci-l-bounces+shannon.odonnell=customcall.com@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:wdsci-l-bounces+shannon.odonnell=customcall.com@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Don Yantzi Sent: Tuesday, February 06, 2007 7:22 AM To: Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] Config File Hi Shannon, Unfortunately you can't. The server has to be started before you can run the admin console. If you double click on the Server entry you can modify a few of the settings (the ones that hopefully will allow you to get the server started). When I right-click on the server name (when it's stopped), the Run Admin Console is grayed out and I cannot select it. Thank you, Shannon O'Donnell
