Window > Preferences > LPEX Editor >User Key Actions

Put c-s-i in the "Key" box (should expand to Ctrl+Shift+I on the right as you type) and findSelection in the "Action" box.

Depending on what I'm doing (mostly research) I double click on text then use Ctrl+Shift+i to procress through the code, or I use Ctrl+F to bring up the seach dialog where you can use Alt+N to go to the next occurrence. I find these work best for me, but there are other ways.

I was able to do the first part, I found the preferences check box. How do
you bind the findselection to a key?

It can be done. You need to bind findSelection to a key. I use
Ctrl-Shift-i. If you just want to keep repeating the find you need to
keep
the found text selected, so Window > Preferences > LPEX Editor > Find Text
>
check "Select found text".
