Different editor hence different functionality?

An alternative I use most of the time is the findText (spelling is
critical) LPEX command. It saves the searches so I can scroll through
them with the arrow keys in the command line.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] LPEX find

When I am using the Java Editor, I can highlight text and
press Ctl-F and it will find that text. Is there a reason
that LPEX does not?
