i don't get it why you are acting so emotional. i don't remember IBM
saying that it will make a linux WDSC version and is now not standing to
it's words. it developed a windows only version (which isn't nice
because of the fact that eclipse is available for various platforms) and
it supports this version only. you don't have to use it. stay with SEU
and be happy. but SEU/STRPDM and the like will probably cost you some
money in the future one way or the other (less productivity or licensing
fees - just a guess).

if you are so eagerly wanting to have an IDE for your platform then
build one. form a team with the various people who would like to support
this idea and get going. nobody is trying to stop you. you eclipse and
write some plugins. it's not that hard. the time invested in writing the
plugins is better used that way than by bragging about ibm.

the fact that ibm is telling everybody to use wdsc and that it only
developed it for the windoze platform is not nice but you still have the
choice to use SEU.
