How 'bout multiple sessions from the same workspace or the ability to undock the source in from the edit screen in the center. From: CRepaka@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Well I don't mind keeping the green screens as it is, but I do want to

the 100 % functionality of green screen in WDSc if possible in near future. I attended recent common in Miami Beach and explained the nice advanced features of WDSc to my team members, very few of them are thrilled. Almost half of them asked can we use WDSc for everything?
There is almost nothing you can do in PDM and SEU that you can't do in WDSC. In fact, I give seminars on that very topic: how to migrate from SEU and PDM to WDSC. Every feature you have in PDM (search, user-defined actions, compiles) is available is Remote Systems Explorer, only better. And nearly every capability of SEU (prompting, block copy, line commands) is available in WDSC's LPEX editors, plus lots more. How an RPG programmer WOULDN'T be thrilled about the Outline view escapes me. And even the hardest-core RPG programmer likes having multiple editable views open to the same source member, not to mention the ability to cut and paste one snippet of code to three or four different source members without having to exit SEU. There are one or two caveats. You can't have a member open in edit mode and then open the same member in browse mode to see a version without changes. However, I think that's more than made up for by the addition of unlimited Undo and Redo capabilities. And you can't run interactive commands like WRKACTJOB from WDSC, but I use those rarely if ever anymore. So, please, tell me what features you aren't available in WDSC? Joe
