Ok, you got me curious.  I couldn't remember seeing an option to enable
SSL for a WDSC connection.

There is the SSL section of the perferences tree under "Remote Systems",
but I can't see where you specify that a specific connection should use
SSL.  Additionally, the help text doesn't appear to make reference to it
 either.

If I had to guess, I would say that the same (or similar) ports needed
for CA400 SSL would be used for WDSC
(http://wiki.midrange.com/index.php/TCP/IP_ports_used_by_Client_Access).
