Hi David, RSEF8002U is a generic error code. Can you send the details for the error message from the .log file (the message you get when trying to clear the cache.) In the meantime, here is the manual way to clear the cache: 1. Shutdown WDSC. 2. Delete the folder: workspace\.metadata\.plugins\com.ibm.etools.iseries.core\cache Don Yantzi Technical Lead WebSphere Development Studio Client for iSeries IBM Toronto Lab David Gibbs <david@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent by: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx 12/18/2006 01:22 PM Please respond to Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries <wdsci-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To wdsci-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx cc Subject Re: [WDSCI-L] RSEF8002U: JobSubSystemImpl.getServerJob: Miner info node not found Don Yantzi wrote:

No luck :(
2. If that didn't work, then try to clear the cache, restart WDSC and
try
to connect.
I get the same error (RSEF8002U) when I clicked on the button to clear the cache in the Remote Systems -> File Cache panel. david
