comes up first thing and there is no reason for me to bring it down. In fact, when I wrote this yesterday, I had three open RPG sources, 2 were missing Compile and the third was not.
I have had similar situations as well. I think it has something to do with the editor tab having focus. For example, if you've launched a compile, then realized you still need to change something, change it, then the error list from the compile comes back - you won't be able to compile again until you switch from the error list view to the editor view. My suspicion is that sometimes, for some reason, when an editor tab gets focus, the flag that says 'make the compile menu active' does not get set properly.
