I agree with Marco that there is more to it than the connection. I fixed my problem the way he describes. I didn't reconnect. In fact, My connection comes up first thing and there is no reason for me to bring it down. In fact, when I wrote this yesterday, I had three open RPG sources, 2 were missing Compile and the third was not. Sometimes just clicking another open program and then click again to the previous one is enough to get back the menu but sometimes no. At this point the only way is close the source and reopen it. Try connecting to your host by expanding the *LIBL filter (or any other one). Ctrl+Shift+C in Remote Systems LPEX might work (but I haven't tried it out). We have a requirement to improve the Compile menu, and removing this limtation is part of that requirement. thanks, Violaine Batthish WebSphere Development Studio Client, IBM Toronto Lab wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote on 11/15/2006 04:01:54 PM:
Has anyone else ever had this happen? I am running V6. Every now and
then
the compile drop down menu doesn't appear for my sources, usually RPG. Typically they are sources that were already open when I brought up WDSc
in
the morning. I usually work in the Softlanding full screen perspective.
I
just popped back and forth between RSE perspective and Softlanding and Compile is still didn't come up. Verify is there and works. It's
ticking
me off because I want to compile this program! Oh, I have 2 other RPG sources that opened the same way, one has the compile menu and the other doesn't. Rick Weber | TOYS 'Я' US International
