Why doesn't "L" and "LL" work in FREE to move a line left? Is there another way?
Not sure why those commands don't work, but here's what I do. 1. Window -> Preferences -> LPEX editor -> User Key Actions 2. Enter the key combination you want to use for block shifting (I use Ctrl+Tab, which is c-t in LPEX world). 3. For the action, choose blockShiftRight. 4. >> Click _Set_ << This is easy to forget and frustrating. If you just click the Apply button (which is the intuitive thing IMHO), it will not work. 5. Highlight a block of code using Alt+R for rectangular selection. 6. Now you can use Ctrl+Tab to indent to your heart's content. When you want to do it again, just repeat steps 5,6. You can also do this for blockShiftLeft, and any other LPEX editor command.
