Hi Don (and others),

To clarify:
FNDSTRPDM creates *CURLIB/EVFEVENT and adds member FNDSTRPDM
Compile commands generally create EVFEVENT in the library of the source
file, using the source member name for the member (if compiling from IFS,
then object name and library are used)

Its on our requirement list to have an option to delete an events file
member from the host after it has been downloaded into Error List view.

thanks,

Since I was able to complete a couple of searches now, I went back
through the log and saw that whenever I started a new search the old
member was removed. So much for having to delete the member. I just
had a thought that when I looked at the file EVFEVENT in QGPL it had
1 member. I think that this member was not removed when it should
have been and if the definition for the file was 1 member, my
searches would not be able to add another member. I think the
compile EVFEVENT file is in a different library and is working fine.
This is just my opinion and not sure if my facts are exact but as
long as my searches are working I'm happy. I prefer this to
FNDSTRPDM on the green screen. Thanks again to all the replies, I've
learned my fact for the day and can go home now.
