That probably explains why the other viewer is not working. I think
that
is just producing a TIFF as well. I think you need to have a licensed
program installed to use this feature.

5722SS1 8 OS/400 - AFP Compatibility Fonts

See if you have that installed.

I checked using WRKLICINF and do not see the product you reference below

listed. So you think that is the problem?

I have iSeries Navigator operational and using it I can view spooled
output
using a viewer. It displays and prints reports perfectly. It *looks*
like it
is a TIFF. Wouldn't WDSC be using the same type of viewer interface that

iNav is using?

Yes, I am sure it is needed. I remember back when we first developed it
there was some piece of IBM documentation for JT400 that says you need
this and I know from supporting the project over the years that it is
needed. I did a Google and found this as an example:

http://as400bks.rochester.ibm.com/iseries/v5r2/ic2924/index.htm?info/rzahh/rzahnm0501.htm

The licensed program is included with OS/400, you just need to install it
from the CD's.

It is possible that OpsNav does not use the same host servers as JT400 or
just uses other technology.
