Michael: <snip> FWIW regarding problem 1: Have you tried deleting the Eclipse configuration folder or subfolders? I've seen this help when things appear out of synch. It's usually related to parsers not working correctly, but it might help in your situation also. The folder to delete is: {drive}\Program Files\IBM\Rational\SDP\6.0\eclipse\configuration </snip> Thanks...I'd not thought to try that. I've had the parser problem also and this does the trick for me, too. Unfortunately, it didn't work for this problem. Arcad's suggestion is to go into the configuration and uninstall their plugins there. I tried that, but there are apparently configuration errors, so it wouldn't uninstall. Now that I've deleted the configuration folders and restarted WDSc, the uninstall options for the Arcad plugins have disappeared! Not that that really mattered...it didn't work anyway. I'll keep trying with Arcad and see where things go. If anyone else has a suggestion, I'm willing to try most anything (liberally applying a sledgehammer to my laptop comes to mind right now). Being forced to use SEU reminds me how much I like WDSc. --Bruce Guetzkow
