Hi, Thanks for the encouraging information.I tried to download the beta using Download Director and received a connection "refused message". I then tried using http and received the following: "The connection has timed out The server at www6.software.ibm.com is taking too long to respond."

They expect the full release in December. I'd recommend downloading the beta and taking it for a spin. If there are features missing, let Rational know about them so they can get them into the next release. So that is TWO people who have independently verified that WDSc will be based on Eclipse 3.2. I talked to the WDSc folks at Spring and Fall common and got the same information. That means I can use MyEclipse as well on the same Eclipse platform. We have has to transfer our web development to Eclipse 3.2, MyEclipse and Instantiations in order to have a modern development environment for Ajax, JSP and Servlet development. I have always used IBM tools but it seems that they are no longer interested in competing in the web tools market. Is it IBMs plan to use WDSC for legacy and webfacing projects only?
