Okay, I promised I'd give filter pools a chance and frankly, I no longer know now how I got along without them. So far, I've rarely had a reason to want more than the one level of indirection (filter pool, then filter) that it affords. I create a filter pool for a particular task and add filters to it. I create a miscellaneous pool and use it for short-term filters. When one becomes used regularly enough, I promote it into a stable pool. So far, all is good in the land of pools. However, I would STILL like the ability to order the entries in a pool as I see fit, and also to subset the pool. The ordering would just be another property of the filter pool. The subset is more of a productivity thing. There are just times when I have a big ol' pool and I want to quickly look at a set of entries; in that case, I'd like a PDM-like subset option. As far as a persistent subset, I'm not yet sure I need that; I can just create another filter. And still, of course, I'd the drag-n-drop ability to move and reorder my pools. Just thought I'd update the list on one guy's findings. Joe
