That seems to be a non-intuitive place to look for help!! Just my 2c

I think the problem is the classic dilemma about how detailed documentation or help should be. It appears that the context sensitive display-file DDS help is not complete. I would venture a guess that the decision was made to set up the context sensitive help smaller so that it would render more quickly. If all you're after is a quick reminder of syntax, etc., then the context sensitive help is adequate. However if you need the full detail from the DDS reference, the best bet is to open the reference. This can be done from the menu bar by selecting Source, then DDS Help, then Reference. This will open the DDS Reference manual. From the page displayed, you can select "DDS keyword entries for display files (positions 45 through 80)". If you click on the CHECK keyword there, you will receive the full help text. Being that it's just text, I find it doesn't take too long to render -- probably not even in a *slow* browser. I don't know why the abbreviated version comes up for context sensitive help. The best solution would probably be to open a PMR as Violaine suggested. If you get a good explanation, let us know. Hi, Here is the 'DDS Help' issue as I see it.... Edit a display file with the Remote Systems LPEX Editor. Press F1 for help. Help opens in a browser window and you are presented a page with DDS
Keyword
Entries. Select the entry of interest (Check). Notice that you only get partial help for the Check keyword, not the
12
pages you find the DDS reference manual (and not the same help you
get if
you type check(me) in the search prompt). How do you easily navigate to the full text from here? Why is the displayed help page truncated? I agree with Richard, that this is not very helpful. John
