you have the option to hide the text of the perspective:
- right click on the "add perspective" button
- disable showing text
et voila

you can also move the slider of the perspective icons area to the left to have
more space.

Betreff: [WDSCI-L] Switch between perspectives

I have started using WDSCi 6 recently. There are some nice new features,
but what I don't like is the way to switch between perspectives. In
version 5.1, the active perspectives were all displayed on the left side
of the screen. It was possible to switch to another perspective with just
one mouse-click. In version 6.0, I have to click on the double arrow to
get a list of all active perspectives, and only then I can click on the
perspective I want to switch to. I know, it's no big deal, but I did like
the old method better. Is there some preference that will allow me to use
the old method?
