What language are your mainframe source programs written in?
Our MF programs are mostly COBOL. But in VSS we store COBOL, JCL, REXX, VB, VBScript, VB.net, Visual C++, SQL scripts and several other types of "sources".
How are you compiling them in WDSC?
I haven't gotten that far yet, but it is my understanding (someone correct me if I am wrong) that I can associate a local or network folder with an iSeries library within a project. I will check out the source from VSS to the local or network folder, edit it and when I am ready to compile WDSC will first make sure that any changed sources are "pushed" to the associated iSeries library and then begin the compile process.
