The virtual memory has always been set this way. I thought WDSC (and the based-on Eclipse/RWD platform) have and run a self-provided and self-contained Java runtime environment. But after re-installing my co-worker's WDSC and applying updates, it's still slower than believable. Plus it's slowing the entire PC down while running. Does anyone know for certain about the Java on which WDSC runs? -----------Original message---------------------- date: Wed, 9 Aug 2006 15:30:46 -0500 (CDT) from: nickmart@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] System suddenly slow Michael, You may want to check the settings on the virtual memory as well. I found more luck setting my own size. I set up the same in virtual memory as I have physical memory. HTH, Nick W. Mart
