Michael,

You may want to check the settings on the virtual memory as well. I found
more luck setting my own size. I set up the same in virtual memory as I
have physical memory.

Mike,

We tried that to no avail. I even deleted another gig or so of stuff from
the disk and defragged again -- still no help. So I've started off on the
uninstall/reinstall adventure -- lots of fun. :-@

Of course to make it even more fun, the PTFs to locally apply a lot of the
fixes to WDSC got permanently applied on our system. Contrary to the
usual procedure, this deletes all the IFS objects for the PTFs, Hence,
the PTF becomes permanently unavailable. Oh well, back to another day or
so of downloading fixes. I think I'll open a PMR and see if anyone can
explain that one to me or our system administrator.

Thanks anyway,

Defrag the hard drive.

The system for one of my developer's had its disk fill up. The PC

WDSC is incredibly slow. She says all her other PC applications run
fine,
but everything related to Eclipse runs *VERY* slowly.

I've tried doing an initialize on her workspace.
"C:\Program Files\IBM\Rational\SDP\6.0\rationalsdp.exe" -initialize
-data
"C:\Documents and Settings\<user-id>\My Documents\IBM\wdsc\workspace"

and doing a clean start

"C:\Program Files\IBM\Rational\SDP\6.0\rationalsdp.exe" -clean

I even tried deleting the files in the configuration folder -- all to
no
avail.

Does anyone else have any other suggestions. If we can't find
anything,
I'll try deleting and re-installing, but that's not an attractive
thought.
