Dear Michael,

Sorry, I am using WDSc express test server actually. How silly am I to
restart the IIS server.

But the point is, when I restart my pc, the test would work for a short
while, not every time though. We are running some proxies for IE thing;
would it be any reason close enough to cause problem to the test server?

Thanks & regards,

I'm pretty sure you can specify the code page for the webfacing project.
I'm
not sure where though.

You're using IIS as the web server? You aren't using the WDSc test
server?

Dear Michael,

For those project that I created, I do not use special character.

But what I realised something strange was; when I restart my PC and
restart the IIS server manually, it works for a while. Meaning, it
works
for a certain testing at the beginning and doesn't after a while.

Is there a place I can check and specify my code page or CCSID for my
WDSc?

Are you using special characters in your invocation name? This:

/TF%20Test2/

Makes me think you have an ampersand (&) in the name. Then maybe two
unprintable (in the CCSID?) characters (#37 and #59) and then a blank
(20)
and then Test2. Try an invocation name with no special characters or
embedded blanks and see if that helps.

Dear all,

Would anyone be able to help on this?
I tried to create a new webfacing project; but sometimes it works
and
sometimes it didn't.

Is this caused by the corrupted invocation/index page of webfacing?

Dear all,

I hit an error when I try to test my Webfacing project on the
Express
Test Server 5.0, cannot bring up my default/index webfacing screen
in
IE
browser.

I am currently using Win XP Pro SP1, WDSc V5.1.2 running on WAS
Express
5.0.

Is it anything to do with my localhost? I have tried restarting the
IIS
but no help. I believe it should have nothing to do with Webfacing
for
the initial page is not even connecting to the webfacing yet.

Jerry,

If you are debugging an application in V5R3 or later, you could use
the
Step Return fuction (F7) to get back to your desired source.

Thanks Adam,

Yes you are on the right track. I'm aware of F6=step, but I find
that
if
I'm not careful enough, and between F5, F6, F7 & F8 I often find
myself
viewing a source member that I don't need to view then I have to go
back
to my desired souce, set a break point and the do an F8 just to get
back
to my desired souce so that I can continue my debug session.

This is a workflow issue I guess, and I think it would be more
efficient
if I could stay in the flow of the debug within the desired module.
