No, for major release updates (V5 to V6), you have to install from CD or DVD.  
The update process only works for patches and point releases.  You need to 
order the new package....

Pursuant to a thread titled "Identifying and finding our WDSCi install
DVDs/CDs" from earlier this month, I have received the media set for WDSCi
version 5.1.2.

We are at OS/400 V5R3, and it is my understanding that we should have WDSCi
version 6.0.1.  Do I need to have 6.0.1 ordered, or can I install 5.1.2 and
upgrade online?
