I haven't seen any replies to the post below regarding the slow down with
Large IFS Folders...It is a big issue with us and we didn't have this
problem on 5.1.2, but we do in
Version: 6.0.0.1
Build id: 20050214_1800
as we are upgrading. Is there anything we can do to avoid this.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

subject: [WDSCI-L] RSE Slow Performance with Large IFS Folder Contents

I have noticed that WDSCI thrashes (locks, takes over memory
resources, etc) using RSE to browse an IFS folder that contains many
entries.

Is there anything I can do to improve performance? iSeries Navigator
doesn't have a problem with these large folders entries, nor does
Windows if I map a drive.

Thanks

Chris
