Justin, The command log is where you can see if a CRT* command was successful. You do not attempt to create a program from there. Also, the log most of the time shows the oldest entries first, so you will have to scroll down or clear the log entries to see the most recent ones. From WDSc, in the iSeries Commands Log view, I type "CRTPGM PGM(l/p)
BNDSRVPGM(s)" and press ENTER. It returns: Program &1 not created. Cause . . . . . : The program &1 could not be created in the library &2. Recovery . . . : Display the job log to determine why the program could not be created (DSPJOBLOG command). Correct the errors and try the request again.
