Hi

Ummm. I have to eat crow. I have got the WDSCi LPEX editor editing both
the JAPANESE and the English source ALL ON THE SAME PC. The last setting I
needed to change was window\preferences\lpex Editor\appearance I change
the font to a japanese font = = - regular 10. (= = are Japanese chars)
But I have done this on only one PC and I dont know what I did that
brought in the Japanese fonts into WDSCi. And I dont know what I need to
do to config the other PCs.

Any ideas anyone.

===========================================================

To be able to edit both Japanese code and English I needed to configue two
PCs.
Even to edit with SEU I still need 2 PCs but I have one PC on my desk
and the other I access via a Remote Desktop client.
I am trying to use WDSCi so I can get rid of the extra PC.

Previously someone mentioned that with SEU it was possible to be able
to edit both English and Japanese source. I asked how this was done
but I had no reply. I have since been shown the SEU ALT VIEW key that I
did not know about and I am asking does WDSCi have such a key.

I have got WDSCi editing both English and Japanese but it does not show
the Japanese SBCS characters properly. In SEU on the Japanese PC I
am able to use a function 'ALT VIEW' that swiches between the 2
forms of characters.

I am not sure this will display properly because of the Japanese
characters.

THIS IS QRPGSRC CCSID 5026
(this is the exact same code in all the below cases)
SEU FORM ONE. This shows lower case english properly.

I press ALT VIEW (mapped to a key in Client Access)
SEU FORM 2 SHOWS JAPANESE SBCS PROPERLY

This is what I have in WDSCI. The WDSCI PC I configured as
Simplfied Chinese and loaded DBCS languages on it via Client Access.
