Note that Eclipse has some nice capabilities to alter key assignments -
though it is non-intuitive IMO.

To modify what a sequence of keys invokes go to
Windows->Preferences->General->Keys

Once on the configuration page, if you can figure out how to work this
interface the first time through consider yourself genius! The thing that
drives me nuts is that there isn't an import/export feature in here. So
each new Eclipse install requires me to re-apply my favorite key sequences
(e.g. Ctrl+D is defaulted to Delete Line, but I like it to Duplicate Line).
And it seems like it gets changed ever so slightly with each major release
of eclipse which makes it even harder to config because you are looking for
the last releases implementation of the interface.

Aaron Bartell

I noticed that too, and I am slowly getting used to the new shortcut,
Ctrl+Backspace.

Ctrl+E now lets you switch editors in a more convenient way than Ctrl+F6.

Hope this helps,
Adam
