Never mind.  I found the answer in the archives (see below).  I apparently
*didn't* have 6.0.1 installed.

Can you verify that you have WDSC 6.0.1 applied?  The Help>About does not
tell you the level of WDSC install but the 'Rational Software Development
Platform' level.  Please check in Rational Product Updater
(Start>Programs>IBM Rational>Rational Product Updater).  It should list IBM
WebSphere Development Studio Client for iSeries.  The version should be
6.0.1 with an install date after Feb. 14, 2006.
