Brian, please note that this post is NOT in any way intended to disparage you or your comments, which are entirely reasonable. But I wanted to make an observation and your post is a great example of what I wanted to mention. Has anybody ever tried to make a comment like this about Word, or Visual Studio, or indeed any other PC product? And there may be some exceptions; I'd love to hear about them. But I'm reasonably certain that if you were to go to Microsoft and say, "I'd really like you to expand the number of recently used files in Word from 9 to 99" (because 9 is a ridiculously small and arbitrary limit), you'd be lucky to get a "piss off" response, much less see the problem fixed within the next couple of rounds of fixes. WDSC has matured and improved to a point where the vast majority of complaints are what I call "luxury complaints" or "convenience complaints". Not long ago, a lot of people (including on this list) were saying the product was unusable, and now instead we're hearing about "annoyances". HUGE kudos to the WDSC team. They're understaffed and overworked and way underappreciated. So, that being the case, how many of us have dropped a line to IBM, or better yet to somebody else in the industry, to tell them how much better WDSC is these days? Anybody? Just wondering. I think I'm going to fire off a quick email to George Farr. Better yet, I think I'll just copy him on this...
