By the way, my project leader muttered something about "those darned trigger programs of yours", but I guess that, if the update works OK from 5250 STRSQL, it's probably not a trigger problem, right? Have you tried running the SQL from a different remote client, such as iSeries Navigator, and if so do you have the same problem? If so it's more likely a problem with the Toolbox driver than the plugin. Chris.
