Re: Session timeout setting on WebSphere and QINACTITV system value

Christian, we make them the same. No need to have the QINACTITV any higher
than the Websphere setting unless you have other users still on 5250
emulation and they want a longer time out value. That way, Webfacing jobs
that don't get ended normally won't hang around for an excessive amount of
time.

Hello,

It's there any recomendation to set the QINACTITV
value?
If I have the session timeout on WebSphere on 30 min
as default, do I have to set it to 30 min too?
