Jon, I don't use verify much, but I noticed that the verify was very slow as long as I was still connected to the iSeries. Once I disconnected from the iSeries the verifies were super quick. Much, much faster than a compile. I must admit to running (at home) a 2Ghz dual-core Opteron w/1MB cache on each core and 1GB RAM however ;-) Charles Wilt -- iSeries Systems Administrator / Developer Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America ph: 513-573-4343 fax: 513-398-1121 > -----Original Message----- > From: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jon Paris > Sent: Tuesday, March 14, 2006 2:15 PM > To: wdsci-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] Speed of Verifier/Outline view refresh > > >> The outline view for RPG does a verify in order to > populate itself. > > I've been meaning to ask this for a while now and V's reply > reminded me. > > Am I the only one to notice how much slooooowwwwweeeeeerrrrr > the WDSC verify > is compared with CODE?
