Hi Bruce

I set up snippets using RPG yesterday.

Go Window | show view | other | basic | snippet to enable the snippet
view.

Right-click on the snippets view, and select customise.
Click on New to create a new category (drawer). I called mine RPG.

Once the category is created:
Right-click on the snippets view, and select customise.
Click on New to create a new Item (snippet). Write or paste your code
in the window provided. I found that I needed to go back and clean out
extra lines for code I pasted in, once I had saved it.

To use the snippet:
Position your cursor in your code, and double-click the snippet.

The Help is great, and probably explains it better than I can, and is
quite easy to follow.

Regards,
Terry

Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] Snippets in WDSCi Lite?

Peter:

<snip>
Is there any way to enable the snippets view in WDSCi Lite, when
developing RPGLE?
</snip>

How did you enable Snippets for use with RPGLE in the full version of
WDSc?
I'm at V6.0.1 (Build id: 20050725_1800) and can open the Snippets view,
but
can't seem to figure out how to use it with RPGLE.

Any assistance you can provide is appreciated.
