Thanks Leonard,

I managed to work around the problem by creating a new member with a
different name and copying in the source code. I can access it fine, just
not the original member.

Do you know how I could grant access to a single member?

Thanks,
-P

Dear Paul,

Not sure you problem actually happened after your upgrade to V6.
I had that experience RSEF1002E before; I was new to LPEX then, when
tried to edit source, you need to grant authority/enroll your remote job
access for DDM and DRDA. Without necessary authority setup, you won't be
able to access your source member.

B'ter luck.

Thanks & regards,

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RSEF1002E when trying to open a particular RPGLE
sourcemember

I have a couple of members in my QRPGLESRC member that I cannot open
with
WDSC 6.0.1 Remote Systems LPEX Editor.

The dialog box pops up with "RSEF1002E Operation failed. File system
input
or output error." if I press "Details..." I get the following info:
"Message reported from file system:
java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException"

Other members open fine, it is just two that give this error.

I have tried recreating my source filter with no luck in resolving this.
Any help would be appreciated.

-Paul
