Most of the documentation would be the various books and articles that exist for Eclipse. If you then wanted to extend WDSC in some way, then you would just want to look at the documentation it provides on their public API and extension points. There is quite a bit of information in the online help, but it is mostly reference material, not how-to. For that, you would probably want to pick up an Eclipse book.
