I am using WDSC 6.0 ( not advanced). I would like to debug a Java
application using the integrated debugger. My .class file is in the
IFS of my development AS/400.

Using RSE, I have gone to the "IFS Files" area, then navigated to my
class file. I can right click my "hello.class" file and choose "Run
Remotely in iSeries View". This works as expected.

But if I highlight "hello.class" then choose "Debug as ... Host Java
application" I get an error dialog box with the message "The selected
object is not a Java main type"

If I choose "Debug as... Java application in iSeries Server" I get an
error dialog box with the message "Launch failed. " Details: Launch
failed: no main type found in active editor.

Any ideas?

-Sarah
