Mark,

I'm running Win2k, no firewall.

Also, this is on WDSCi v6 running the Websphere v6 test server.

I was thinking there might be some restriction to localhost. But using
the TCP/IP name in IE on my own PC works fine. Correct me if I'm wrong,
but isn't there some difference between using localhost and the local
hosts name?

In any event, I found a section of the manual that mentions it is
possible to have a remote server set up as a Websphere Test server that
is shared by multiple developers. So it would seem that there is no
restriction to localhost.
