Hi Rob, If your SQL statements are imbedded in ILE RPG or COBOL, you can syntax check these SQL statements through RSE. Open your source in RSE, select your SQL statement, right click on it and choose syntax check selection. If you are connected to the iSeries, your SQL statements will be syntax checked. You can also syntax check the entire source file if you have a few SQL statements that all require syntax checking. There is also an option in the preferences, that will turn the SQL syntax checking ON while editing. However, SQL syntax checking is performed on the iSeries and it may be a bit slow depending on your connection.
