I think compiling over something in QTEMP is not a WDSC issue - if you do a batch compile from PDM, you have the same issue, because the batch job's QTEMP is not the same as the one where you put the file. Try setting WDSC compiles to interactive

How about creating a model database file in a normal library and compile
against that.  When you execute the program, dupe the model into qtemp
and do an ovrdbf.
