I recently attended a workshop

. I was very surprised how SQL have undergone major changes. We used a lot
of visual explain on fine tuning query and optimizing the queries.  I would
recommend to users in Iseries for version higher than 5.1. Check it out.

I was wondering either IBM (DB2) division or Rational developers are
contemplating of creating a Visual Explain as a plug-in/view  in  data
perspective of Rational 6.x. Any info. is highly appreciated.
