That did it - thanks Charles.

Bob,

You want the jt400.jar.

As far as where it is, check the following:
C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access\jt400\lib
C:\Program
Files\IBM\Rational\SDP\6.0\rwdi_shared\eclipse\plugins\com.ibm.etools.is
eries.toolbox_6.0.0\runtime
C:\WDSC\java

Also, you can download the latest version from:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/jt400

Lastly, you'll need to know the class name to use which is:
"com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver"

I have the plug-in installed and am now able to pull up the Quantum DB
perspective. Now I am attempting to create my first bookmark. I
right-click and select New Bookmark and a wizard pops up and the first
thing it asks for is the JDBC driver. The only driver I have available
to select is sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver.

I'm guessing I need to add a new driver. But, which one and where would
it be located? When I click on Add Driver it gives me the option to Add
External JAR... and from there I get lost. Which JAR and where is it???

Bob:

<snip>
Can you, or anyone, tell me the proper procedure for installing this
plugin?
</snip>

Sounds like others have already been able to help out. I haven't had a
chance to download Quantum since I switched to 6.0, but I expect to do
that soon.

I like the DBU GUI, but wish I could specify the font and a few other
attributes.
