There are several methods. Here's a few:
1) Right-click on the 'template', select 'Copy',
then right-click on the target source file
and click 'Paste'. This will copy the
'template' to the target source file you can
then rename the member.
2) Hold down the Ctrl-key, left-click the
'template' source member, then drag it to
the desired source file.
(In either of the two options above if the
member already exists in the target source-file,
you will be prompted to overwrite or rename. I
always select 'rename' and give it the new name.)
3) Write a user-defined action assigned to CPYF.
This will prompt you for the target source
file and member names.

subject: [WDSCI-L] copy and paste members?
Greetings,
Does anyone know how to copy and paste members in the
remote systems
explorer? I have templates that I routinely copy to create a new
trigger/rpg pgm/procedure. In pdm I just put a 3 by the members, named
them
what I want, and Bam - They are there.
I keep finding myself going back to pdm to do this and
was just wondering
if there is a way to do it in wdsc 6.0 that I haven't caught. Anybody
know
a way?
Thanks
