When I install WDSc 6.0 from the DVD it takes about 1 - 1 1/2 hours.
That's not bad. But then the updates need to be applied and that's where
the challenge begins. I'm downloading over a DSL connection (shared
throughout our organization). After running the update function for about
5 hours, I had to disconnect everything else from the network (or our
administrator would be upset at me for staying connected through the
night) and go home. The download was a few hundred MB. I really don't
know how long it takes to do the update since I've always had to leave it
over night. I know the iSeries marketing folks were into the term
"Extreme" a few years back, but I hate having to apply the term extreme to
the update process.

Does anyone have any idea when the updates would be available for
download? I've got several developers to apply them to and I'm already
hearing grumbles from the network folks about the consumption of bandwidth
for the update(s).
