Hi Mike, Make sure the date on the PC is correct. If it is then you will probably have to make that call : ( Don Yantzi Technical Release Lead WebSphere Development Studio & WebSphere Development Studio Client for iSeries IBM Toronto Lab Phone: (905) 413-4476 IBM internal: IBMCA(yantzi) - Internet: yantzi@xxxxxxxxxx "Mike Silvers" <msilvers@xxxxxxxxxxx> Sent by: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx 09/19/2005 05:59 PM Please respond to Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries To <wdsci-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> cc Subject [WDSCI-L] Installation problems Well -- I finally received the new distribution of WDSC. I installed it as a new install on a laptop. The install went ok -- I tried to start it and I receive an error: "The license can not be found RationalWebDeveloperWin32 Version 6.0 cannot start" and "The license cannot be found. WDSCwin32 Version 6.0 cannot start" I never had this before -- I looked in the readme and install docs -- there was nothing about a license. This is a new install on this machine. Any ideas before I make that dreaded call to IBM? ====================================== Mike Silvers Senior Programmer/Analyst iSeries Websphere Certified Hainey Business Systems Branch Office: (410) 219-2695 Cell: (443) 521-3887 Main Office Direct: (717) 771-2358 Main Office General: (717) 718-9601 ext 7139 Fax: (877) 804-9589 http://www.hbs-inc.com <http://www.hbs-inc.com/> AIM: IBMJavaMan =======================================
