I agree that this defeats the purpose of a GUI IDE, but if there's no other solution I might play with it. </snip> If you write a plugin for displaying green-screen info in a WDSc view, I'll bet that there are a bunch of us who'd love a copy! I also suspect that IBM has done something like this for their scan feature, as I know that it creates spooled files (which remain in the OUTQ until we manually get around to removing them), then "magically" captures the information and displays it in a view.
