The CPYTOIMPF/CPYFRMIMPF problems were icky...and it took IBM a while to fix them IMO. Of course, they had that dtaara kludge to make it work like it should (V5R2). I also encountered a backwards incompatibility with QNTC from V5R3 to an NT PDC. These were a couple of big ones...I don't remember others of substance. That being said, the double edged sword of the iSeries is it's backwards compatibility. I can take the lousy, inefficient code that I wrote in a S/3 Model 8 a long, long time ago and run it on the latest 570. And the problem is...people do that. > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: RE: [WDSCI-L] RE: 5.1.2.5 vs 6.0 co-existence and 5.2.1.5 > removal > From: "Joe Pluta" <joepluta@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Date: Thu, August 25, 2005 1:16 pm > To: "'Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries'" > <wdsci-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> > > Ugh.
