That would definitely not be a WDSC issue. Personally, I would say it is a networking issue. The error message seems relatively clear, your connection was dropped. Does this happen after a long period of inactivity? Take a look at this thread from a year ago. This is the last message in the thread, you may want to read the whole thread. The suggestions made have also resolved the problem for some remote users that we have which work via VPN. This keeps their VPN connection active. Basically, try running CHGTCPA on your iSeries and changing the TCPKEEPALV value to a smaller number.
