I have a large block of code in a cl program that looks like the
following:
/* End Subsystems 1 */

             IF COND(&COMMAND *EQ 'END1') THEN(DO)
...
...
...
             GOTO  CMDLBL(ENDCLPGM)
             ENDDO
When I use Ctrl-M on the top do, or the bottom ENDDO, they match. Yet I
still get an error upon compile:

CPD0707: No matching DO command for ENDDO command. ENDDO ignored.
And it highlights the above ENDDO.
