Nick, Do you run the client program (don't know it by memory) on the PC which has the webfacing session open ? You also need to specify the IP-address of the client PC to the QVISNDRCV API. BTW, I also have a question regarding QVISNDRCV... did some people got this working in a Citrix environment ?
